SMS Policy

Program Description

FundraiseHub’s SMS program sends text messages on behalf of fundraiser participants to their personal contacts, inviting them to support a fundraiser, and sends reminder texts to participants themselves about their own fundraising progress. Messages are sent only to phone numbers that a participant has knowingly provided as their own contacts, or to a participant’s own verified phone number.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by fundraiser and by role. Participants may receive up to a few reminder texts per week while a fundraiser is active. Contacts invited by a participant typically receive one to three messages total (an initial invite plus at most two follow-up reminders) over the life of a single fundraiser.

Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan.

Opting Out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out of future messages. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to that phone number by FundraiseHub, across all fundraisers. Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This program works with most major US mobile carriers. Coverage may vary by carrier.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for use by individuals who are at least 13 years of age. Participants under 18 should have parental or guardian consent before joining a fundraiser or sending messages through the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Privacy

Phone numbers collected for this SMS program are used solely to deliver fundraiser-related messages and are handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell phone numbers or share them with third parties for marketing purposes.
